Got the Note 9 Pro in Galcier White Colour on first sale itself. I skipped Note 8 Pro. Swift Delivery with Amazon. After spending a few weeks with it, here's my experience. I keep switching phones often and let's see if Note 9 Pro is the ideal phone. Design: Awesome design. I like the center placed punch hole camera, it gives a overall sense of symmetry. The Aura Balanced Design is premium. Glass Front & Back With Curved Edges. Plastic Frame. Phone comes with a silicon back cover in the box and a plastic screen guard pre applied on the screen. Looks really nice with the white colour but due to 20:9 aspect ratio and large screen, it is a tall phone, quite difficult to handle single handedly even with my big enough hands. I think I am the first one to write a review for this beauty :) I ordered this on 15 June (1st sale) and It was there in my hand in the morning of 17 June.

My experience so far with this:
1. Display: It's amazing. Sharpness, brightness and 120Hz with QHd+ display makes it one of the most beautiful display ever.
2. Camera: If you are a professional photographer, you might find differences. For a normal user, it's just perfect.
3. Battery: I am getting a very good battery backup. When I go to bed, it's 30%. 30T Warp charger is a booom.
4. Performance: Blazing and Lightning fast.
5.Gaming: Outstanding getting 60fps at all setting it supports HDR with extreme frame rates in pubgm.. A must go for pubg.. Best android phone till now to play pubgm (I haven't seen any kind of frame drop till now)
5. One of the USP of OnePlus mobiles is its Oxygen OS. I can tell you that it's the best. Lots of gestures, shortcuts and very lightweight.
Note - My variant doesn't have any kind of display issue 😁
Go for it guys !! You won't regret.


Pros. and cons. 

Pros:
1) Best display in market .120 hz quad hd .10 bit panel. Post getting this beast I had a chance to compare 8 pro and Galaxy s20 plus display side by side @croma outlet.Compared both at similar settings and found 8 pro to be better by good margin.Curvs do add to its beauty.

2)I am not that camera centric, but found its camera to be good even in low light.Worth pic quality at this price.

3)Dual Sterio speakers powered by Dolby. Earpiece acts as one speaker hence you get that punch of sound from front.

4)Battery is not best in market, but it is good. With 120hz + quad hd I received 5.30 hours of screen on time.However you have 30t fast charge so it power ups quickly.

5)Oxygen OS is the top reason I am loyal towards one plus. Best in market.Snapy with no lag.

6) Additional features : Wireless Charging + Water proof. Never worried about this as they were not my priority.But good to have.

7)Lighter and slimmer than one plus 7t pro. Due to reduced width it becomes easy to hold and use.

Cons:

1) Will take time to use this one handedly.But If you want big display size you don't have much options.This is slim than mi10 ,oppo find x2 . S20 plus feels more light and slim than this.

2)Post wrap charge it gets slightly warm not hot. I think this can be fixed by software update.

Verified Purchase
Facing major problems:

1. Black bar, black crush issue and red tint across the display. ( Attached photos for reference)

2. Significant discoloration on display with uneven brightness. ( clearly visible in the photos)

3. OnePlus has tried to dampen the issue by increasing the minimum brightness, now its uncomfortable to use in the dark, with so bright screen glaring at you. ( Trying to get away)

Seems to be prominent in the Indian unit.

No response from amazon or OnePlus till now. This is totally unacceptable. Your silence on this is shameful.

For you it might be just another phone, For me it is hard earned money that they I have saved up for months

Highly disheartened with this purchase.
